On Giftedness and a search for Kindredness

Raindrops Echo

Raining hard…thunderstorms

Late night, rain drops, star light

Glistening, Twinkling

Off tiny river-lets

On pains of glass.. longing hearts

In the silence of the night

Raindrops echo, reflecting thoughts

Drifting, Shifting

Light is sought

You are found, I was lost

by me! (Leslinks)

I never know what to say when reading someone’s poetry. I’ve read thousands of them and even when they speak to me it’s difficult to talk about them. “Oh that’s good” seems so inadequate for poetry. But the internets are both great for being expansive and lend themselves to brevity.

All that being said I love the imagery of this poem. Sad, but touching.
